Accenture - Identity & Access Control Intern (July 2026)
Porto, Portugal
- Designed and implemented a 3-tier RBAC system on AWS Cognito, replacing a group model that didn't scale, and built a fine-grained, server-side-enforced permission workflow
- Enabled and tested optional TOTP multi-factor authentication end-to-end, including self-service setup
- Ran a hands-on security audit: found and fixed exposed configuration in version control, flagged over-permissioned IAM roles, and enabled DynamoDB Point-in-Time Recovery.
- Integrated automated secrets-scanning and static analysis into the CI/CD pipeline as enforced quality gates, and built a CloudWatch monitoring dashboard as Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK)

CEiiA - DevSecOps & Cybersecurity Intern (Aug-Sep 2025)
Matosinhos, Portugal
- Developed automated security scanning scripts for Terraform, Kubernetes and Dockerfile configurations using Checkov, Hadolint and Trivy across Azure and GCP infrastructure
- Built a heuristic-based quality gate for CI/CD pipelines to deduplicate secret findings across GitLeaks, TruffleHog and Detect Secrets
- Configured Kubernetes environments including RBAC, Network Policies, CronJobs and Trivy Operator for continuous vulnerability monitoring
- Conducted web application penetration testing using OWASP ZAP, Nikto, ffuf, SQLMap and jwt_tool, covering reconnaissance, fuzzing and JWT analysis
